Chapter 8: The Little Angel

The delivery didn't take too long. Chance didn't have to worry so much. Both the mother and child are safe.

Georgia came out of the hospital holding a little angel wrapped in a pink cotton cloth. It was a girl!

Georgia knew she is too blessed. Now that they, Chance and Georgia, have a baby, the family is officially complete. They named her Freya, which means, "noble lady." They hope that Freya will live her name.

Chance watched as his most beloved struts down the hospital walk with the baby in her arms. He watched as the realization sunk in. He's officially a father! Chance was just too overwhelmed by the events that he forgot he was still inside the hospital while watching.

Georgia was filled with so much love for her little angel.
"I don't know how your Dad knew...," she trailed off as she fed her child. The child just laughed in her arms. Already, Georgia knew her child is easily impressed as she rock her in her arms.
"My darling..." she cooed.

Georgia then left Freya in her crib, so she too can rest. They can't help getting so excited about the new baby that they just have to buy a big crib for her. However, there's also one person who can't keep his excitement. Just right after Georgia crept inside the covers of their bed to take a shut-eye...

"Boooo... who's your daddy? Who's your daddy?" Chance carried Freya out of her crib to play with her. He kept saying senseless things over and over again. And people thought that after enjoying a life of a bachelor, Chance would be hesitant to have a child. Well, apparently they're wrong.

Chapter 7: The Stork Arrived!

Georgia tried to make the following days feel as normal as possible. Chance, on the other hand, tries as much as he can to help around the house. He has even assigned himself to take care of the laundry.

"Hmm... when I'm done with laundry I wonder what I should eat... I hope Georgia left me some food..."

"Okay, what did Georgia say again? Two or three cups of this? Err... I guess I'll just pour everything down... That's better."

Well, Chance doesn't have a clue as to what had been troubling Georgia since several days ago. So everything was quite normal until that night...

"Ooof. What's that? Ow...," Georgia was suddenly jolted from her sleep. Her tummy was hurting more than ever. "Chance! Please wake up!," she cried frantically.
"What is it hon?," Chance said in his stupor.
"I think I need to go to the hospital! I think I'm having the baby!!"

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Georgia was screaming! "Chaaaaaance!!"
"W-What??? Wait, calm down. Let's all calm down. You're having the baby?!?"
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Georgia screamed louder than ever.

"PLEASE, CHANCE! Let's gooo! It's coming!"
"Whaaat?!" Chance was frantic as he clutch his hands to his head trying to think straight. "Oh yeah, let's go to the car!! Hurry!"

Georgia hurried to get dressed, leaving Chance in the room.
"Oh my! What am I supposed to do again?! Oh yeah! Drive. Car. Hurry. AAAAHHH!!! We're having the baby!!!"

Chance hurried to the car to drive his family to the hospital.

And there in the hospital, Chance waited.

Chapter 6: The Worry

"Oh Darla, I'm so glad you came. I don't know what else to do." Georgia was saying as they sat down on the couch.
"Babe, I know when something's up. You won't call me for nothing. So tell me what happened." Darla Hollingsworth responded.

Darla is one of Georgia's oldest friends. When they moved to Riverview, Georgia immediately contacted her old friend. Darla and her family moved into the town several years ago before the Brendons had. Darla is also the only person in town who knows the real reason why Georgia chose to move there.

"She just called you know. I don't even know how she got my number. She just wouldn't stop would she? She wants to make my life a living hell." Georgia was on the verge of tears, but her anger gets the best of her. "I won't let her do this again. I won't let her."

"Honey, slow down. I know how she is. You just need to consider things first."
"But not now Darla! Not when I'm about to have my first child!"
"That's exactly it. You can't be worrying all the time. You'd be giving birth to a depressed baby!"

"Hmmm you're right." Georgia's expression softened at the mention of her baby. "I can't wait for him... or her you know... I just know Chance and I will have a beautiful baby!," she almost sang.
"That's exactly what I've been telling you about. Don't worry too much about it."
"Thanks Darla. I hope so too... I also hope she won't bother me again."

Chapter 5: An Unexpected Call

Author's note: Sorry for the really really late update. It's just now that I'm really able to catch up with simming. Anyway here we go...

The following days were quite uneventful. Nothing really special... or peculiar happened. That is, until this day.

Chance had the day off and had nothing to fix around the house. So he just stayed at home to rest. He was so excited about the baby that he can't help reading a pregnancy book his wife bought.

Meanwhile, Georgia was getting so restless. So she decided to cook something for lunch...

when suddenly her cellphone rang. The caller had an unfamiliar number.

Her heart started to pound when she heard the caller's voice on the other side of the line.

"Helloooo," she drawled. Georgia can't forget, for the life of her, that voice. That voice that was the reason for her to persuade Chance to move from Sunset Valley to Riverview even after the success of their episode in The Bachelor.

She cleared her throat.

"W-who is this?" Georgia asked, even though she knew who it was.
"Oh darling, stop kidding around. I know you know who I am," the voice from the other line said.

"What do you want?," Georgia seethed.
"Was just wondering how you were... you know. Nothing special."
"I don't need to hear from you. Goodbye." And with that, Georgia hung up. Georgia sighed deeply and looked at her cellphone in disgust. Several thoughts racing in her head. Then she dialed a number and waited for someone to answer.

Author's second note: I thought I should shorten the chapters more. LOL I think they were getting too long so it would be a lighter read. Anyways, next chapter will be up soon. :)

Chapter 4: The News

After spending some time in the bathroom, Georgia finally gets her results from that rectangular device - a pregnancy test.

Georgia: It's positive!!!

She was jumping up and down and exclaiming. She was so overjoyed. She couldn't wait to tell Chance - although she knows he'd be soundly sleeping.

Georgia: Maybe I should wait for Chance to wake up before I tell him. Oh little tyke, I hope you're doing okay in there. Mommy's here.

Georgia kept rubbing her tummy and mumbling sweet nothings to the child inside her.

Morning comes, and Chance went to work early therefore forcing Georgia to wait a bit more until Chance comes home. Now that she's pregnant, she doesn't have to go to work.

She spends most of her time watching television, and somewhat has an inclination towards watching silly cartoons.

TV blaring - "Hoppity-hop we go, until we reach the pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow!"

She has also been craving a lot of food.

Georgia: mmm... peanut butter...

And eating lots of them.

Georgia: I didn't know being pregnant can blow me up like this... but hell who cares?

Chance finally arrived home in his not-so-ostentatious luxury car.

Chance: Wonder what's for dinner... *tummy grumbles*

Chance went in and was looking for Georgia. He found her wandering around in their backyard. Georgia's bump is so obvious - she seems to get fatter every minute - that there's no need to even tell Chance she's pregnant.

Georgia: Chance! You're home!
Chance: Hey... ooof... what's that bump there? Been spending your day eating, honey?

Georgia: Oh Chance, you buffoon. I have something to tell you!
Chance: You've finished all the chocolates again?
Georgia: NO! Well actually I left a bit for you... anyway! That's not what I want to tell you. I'm pregnant!!!
Chance: Woah! I'm going to be a father? I'm going to be a dad?!?

Chance was ecstatic and can't keep his joy!

Chance: Hey there little darling... I'm your dad...

Chance: Can you hear me? I sure can hear you... *chuckles*
Georgia: I think it's a boy.
Chance: No, I think it's a girl.
Georgia: *laughs* How do you know?
Chance: Father's instinct.
Georgia: I still think it's a boy. He kicks pretty strong.

Chance: *whispers* I can't wait until you come out little one.

Chapter 3: The Firsts of Many Nights

Upon arriving home, Georgia was tired and set on relaxing herself. She was greeted by Chance who got home earlier than her.

Chance: Hey sweet cheeks. How was your day?
Georgia: Heeeey, it was good but I think I ate something rather spoiled.
Chance: Oh you okay?
Georgia: Yeah I'm fine. I think I will just go clean up first.
Chance: Will be waiting no matter how long it takes.

And gave Georgia a kiss.

Meanwhile, Chance decided to go tend to their little makeshift patch at their backyard for a while.

Chance: Little seedlings, grow and multiply and you shall make me happy.

Chance and Georgia retired out of exhaustion after their first day at work. They went to bed rather early and were dreaming of lovely things to come to their lives. That is, until Georgia had to wake up.

Chance: Mmmm... *mumbles incoherent scientific name of a plant*
Georgia: Owww... my tummy hurts.

Chance: put seed *mumbles some more* hmmm lilies... awful...
Georgia: I think I'm gonna... *runs off to the bathroom*

Georgia: bad food... never ea- *vomits* -ting the- *vomits some more*

Then it dawned on her. She got up and walked towards the medicine cabinet.

Georgia: Where is that thing? No... not this. No... where in the- Chance got a new shaving cream? Oh that's why he smells loads better... Georgia focus! Where'd you put it? Maybe I shou- there you are little thing!

Georgia got out the little rectangular thing in the box.

Georgia: I guess it's time to put you to use.

Chapter 2: Getting on Their Feet

The house Chance and Georgia moved to was located in Riverview, away from the hustle and bustle of their old lives. This signifies a new start for them, a new beginning.

Life had been fairly normal. Chance learned the habit of reading the paper every morning while Georgia prepares breakfast - she found out she has a passion for cooking! Especially if it's for Chance.

While browsing through the papers, Chance found an opening in the Riverview Science Center as a test subject.

Chance: Well, it's not much but I really love Science. Hopefully they'll see my potential. This will be a great cover too. I wonder if I should consult my doctor first though...

Georgia was in the kitchen preparing some salad.

Georgia: Oh I hope Chance likes this new recipe I learned. Wait, was that a tablespoon or a cup of vinegar?

Chance insisted that he should be employed even though they're already financially secure. He says that he will die of boredom if he just stays in the house. It's because of this that Georgia gave it some thought and decided that she should get a job too. If Chance will be out the whole day - what's there to do in their house anyway?

Georgia employed herself as a stylist. She's just new, but she always liked the fashion industry. She likes glamour and all that shizz - why else would she join The Bachelor? Anyway, that's all behind them now.

Georgia: Oh I hope this will go alright. I mean I'm okay right? My fashion sense is acceptable. It's not queer nor ugly. I hope the people are nice. I mean I hope they don't bite. Oh come on, Georgia, they won't bite. Or will they?

She kept blabbing on to herself - it's the first day jitters.

Her first appointment is with Robert Newbie.

Robert: You know, my butt kind of looks big in these pants. Do you think you can work something out?
Georgia: Hm. I think we can find new ones for you. But with a butt that big, I think we should first take measurements. I don't think I can find any stocks for you today.
Robert: Go ahead and take my measurements. Just want to get rid of this one. It makes me look fugly. Oh and I want them in black. Makes me slimmer.

After taking some measurements and scheduling Robert for a fitting of the new pants, Georgia went to chat with the other stylist.

Stylist 1: So you're first customer is Robert huh?
Georgia: Yeah, he's okaaaaay...
Stylist 1: He's a tough one. He's so complex. Sometimes you don't know what style he wants. And he always complains about his butt. I want to give him a bad makeover sometimes. Good thing he's with you now. Hahaha
Georgia: Err... Yeah. Good for you.

By then, Georgia's second customer arrived. And the third.

"I'm hot stuff"

Georgia: And this perfume here is manufactured in Paris...

And the day went on like that. It was a long day for Georgia, and she was almost sure she had it when she came rushing to the bathroom and...

Georgia: Oh jeez, what have I eaten this time? *vomits some more* must be those peanuts in that salad.

Author's note: next Chapter will be up when I get home! That'll be in 4 hours :p
